MICHELE MIRASOLA

DANCE INSTRUCTOR

Michele has had a passion for dancing since she was old enough to walk. Since then, passion has taken her far — from dancing in recitals, competitions, charity events, and well known parades and performances such as New York’s Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade. She has studied under renowned dance instructors, including Charles Russell of The Joffrey Ballet, and has had the privilege and excitement of performing as a Miami Heat and Florida Bobcat cheerleader. While she has always loved performing, Michele realized early on that her next calling was to share her passion with others.

After studying with Dance Educators of America in New York City, Michele was licensed to be an instructor and went onto spend the next 15 years teaching all genres of dance, with special focus in jazz, hip hop, and ballet, to children of all ages. Michele considers one of her greatest accomplishment’s to be instilling her love of dance into so many students who have gone on to be successful on many different platforms, in and out of the “spotlight”. Knowing from experience that Dancing is a great emotional release and an excellent way to express yourself, she believes personal development is the ultimate goal. Michele is honored to be on the teaching team at BARCLAY where she can help students hone their technical skills while “finding their voice” through dance at the same time.
