Kenzie Reese Heald is from Plantation, Florida where she started dancing at 3 years old. She’s been trained in classic ballet, classic and commercial jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip hop, and acro for over 15 years. She started competitive dancing at the age of 6 years old. She has attended over 30 competitions and has won several, winning First Place Overall at Nexstar, Applause, Leap, and plenty more competitions all over Florida.
Kenzie was involved in the West Boca community by dancing at her middle school and high school for 7 years. She choreographed jazz, lyrical, and musical theatre pieces for her high school’s dance and musical theatre programs. Her goal now is to become an educator for kids in the arts and is proud to be stepping into that journey as Office Administrator, Dance Company Assistant & a member of the teaching faculty! She wants to help guide students of all ages on how to be hard-working and strive for their passions while having fun and always keeping a positive mindset. She also wants to be an example of how to be body-positive and aware of mental and physical health. For herself and the community, Kenzie wants to have an impact on lives while also teaching a form of art that is so beautiful and important to her. She wants to share her passion for dance with her community here at BARCLAY Performing Arts.
