Christine, originally from Boston Massachusetts, received her BA in Theatre with a double concentration in Performance and Direction from Muhlenberg College. After graduation, Christine moved to New York City and worked as a Director/Choreographer for Tada! Youth Theatre and the Lucy Moses School at the Kaufman Center. She was the Executive Assistant to Marc Tuminelli, founder of The Broadway Workshop (nominated Best Theatre Program in NYC) and was a resident member of the theatre faculty for the Rodeph Sholom School in Manhattan. Christine performed, directed, and choreographed for multiple theaters and schools throughout the city including The Kew Forest School and The Looking Glass Theatre, where her directorial work was lauded by the New York Times as one of the company’s production “highlights”.
In 2012, Christine moved to Florida where she wore many hats at the nationally acclaimed and award-winning StarStruck Academy & Theatre. Her favorite performance credits include CAN CAN (Pistache), and BYE BYE BIRDIE (Kim Macafee). In addition to acting she has director, choreographed, stage-managed and performed in countless productions throughout New York City, Florida, Massachusetts, Maine, and Pennsylvania. She currently has students on Broadway, National & International Tours, attending BAK Middle School, Dreyfoos High School, and almost every top tier performing arts university & college in the country.
Christine founded BARCLAY Performing Arts in January of 2016 and dedicates her company to the memory of her late and amazing Director Dad who always found a way to bring out the very best in each and every person, whether on the stage or behind the scenes.
Om is a Guyanese-American alumni of Florida Atlantic University with a BFA in Theatre and concentration in Fitzmaurice voice techniques. At FAU, he was in numerous shows such as Rivals and The Government Inspector. He worked professionally after graduation and specializes in acting, voice, and counseling. His BARCLAY credits include: Tap Dancing Through Auschwitz (Director), Assassins (Lee Harvey Oswald), Jesus Christ Superstar and Hair.
Jason was born and raised in Miami, FL. Jason graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors degree in Theatre. He is trained in multiple aspects of theatre ranging from set construction all the way to acting and directing. Jason has found success in the South Florida theatre scene performing in shows and films as far north as West Palm and as far south as Miami. Some favorite performances include VENUS and THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS IS CARIOT (Simon), along with JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (Peter), ROCKY HORROR (Rocky) and HAIR (Woof) at BARCLAY Performing Arts. Jason has two independent films under his belt: THE EVENING SHIFT can be found on Youtube and THE DEATH PLEDGE is still awaiting release in 2018. Jason has been assisting Christine since the end of 2017. Jason was an assistant director for NOISES OFF and SPRING AWAKENING and a production assistant for SEUSSICAL KIDS, LEGALLY BLONDE and SPRING AWAKENING. Jason adds his knowledge, love, and passion for film and theatre with the entire BARCLAY family, and all the newcomers who decide to walk through the studio doors.
Tyler grew up in West Boca and received a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Telecommunications from the University of Florida. While in college, Tyler interned for various facets within the Hollywood and Broadway industry. Some of his credits include working for the teams responsible for Fun Home, Allegiance, Star Wars: Rogue One, and Cinderella. Most recently, Tyler produced an original play he wrote titled TAP DANCING THROUGH AUSCHWITZ. Since joining BARCLAY, Tyler has assisted Christine on all fronts. From assistant directing to corresponding outreach and social media, Tyler has had the joy of helping students “find their voice” and “sing their song”.

Ed has been the Music Director for BARCLAY since it’s first show in 2016! Over the past 40 years he has been a music director, organist, pianist, freelance keyboardist, accompanist, arranger and choral director. He has worked on shows including The Wizard of Oz, Hello Dolly, Mame, Annie, The Sound of Music, Oliver, Mass by Leonard Bernstein, The Music Man, Little Shop of Horrors, and Beauty and The Beast. He also regularly serves as an accompanist/coach for numerous professional, amateur, and student vocalists and instrumentalists in the South Florida area.
Hannah started to study music & vocal training at a young age in San Antonio, Texas and participated in vocal competitions, concerts and musicals. In 2010 she began studying Vocal Performance at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While in Pittsburgh she performed in productions like Into The Woods and Albert Herring. During the summer of 2013 she was an assistant teacher for the Magic Theatre summer arts camp. That experience sparked her love for teaching children.
In 2014, she received her BFA from CMU and moved to South Florida to start her career. She has performed in such shows as The Sound of Music (Maria) with Broadway Bound and Grease (Sandy) with Chicken Coop Theatre. Hannah has also been featured in a number of semi-professional shows here at BARCLAY. Some favorites include; Rocky Horror Picture Show (Janet), Hair (Sheila), and Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary Magdalene).
Hannah currently works with Party Princess Productions performing as a princess for children’s birthday parties and events. She also teaches musical theatre through KinderTime. She is thrilled to bring her love of music to the BARCLAY Performing Arts studio so she can share it with children and nurture and inspire an open mind and a full heart.
Martyna Reczka has been teaching piano at BARCLAY Performing Arts since September of 2017. You may have seen her performance in Jesus Christ Superstar at Barclay Performing Arts in April 2018. She’s always had a love for piano and started to take lessons at the age of seven and has performed in many recitals and concerts. She attended G-Star High School of the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach and is currently getting her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Musical Theatre at Florida Atlantic University. Being a well rounded artist, Martyna makes sure her teaching methods are not only engaging and knowledge filled, but also fun for the kids!
Sydney has been dance training for the past 12 years and theatrically performing for 7 years. Sydney teaches both BROADWAY DANCE I & BROADWAY DANCE II classes, along with acting as the choreographer for our other show programs. Some of her favorite BARCLAY credits include PIPPIN (Ready Player), THE DROWSY CHAPERONE (Kitty), ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (Columbia), HAIR (Jeannie/Choreographer), SPRING AWAKENING (Martha), and ONCE ON THIS ISLAND (Asaka).
Jennifer is a passionate Yogi & Holistic Doula. She is certified from Anuttara in Raja, Advanced Vinyasa and Specializes In Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga. 7 years ago she discovered Yoga as a way of uniting the mind, body, and soul and it profoundly shifted her life. She fulfills her purpose through supporting and empowering others and has dedicated her life to inspiring others to life an authentic lifestyle focused on gratitude. By connecting the mind, body, and soul Jennifer will challenge you to deeply explore your true self on and off the mat.
Chris Evans is a New Yorker who went to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where he received a BA in Scenic Design. He has spent over 20 years working in television, film and theatre. His work includes Dawson’s Creek, Elmo in Grouchland and promos for HBO, as well as running his own theatre company, and designing and building sets for more than 100 plays including Singin’ in the Rain, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Little Shop of Horrors, 9 to 5, Grease, Shrek, Legally Blonde, The Drowsy Chaperon and Aladdin Jr. He now works as the full time Scene Shop Manager at Florida Atlantic University.
