Shayna is a one-of-kind and a natural leader among her peers. She always had a dream of being a makeup artist and has taken every opportunity she could to get there. She was first formally introduced into makeup when she took a theater makeup course in high school and instantly fell in love. As her connection with makeup grew, she applied to be her theater department’s lead makeup artist. After that, she enrolled in cosmetology school and received her license at the same time she graduated high school.

Shayna took a leap of faith and moved to Florida from Northern Virginia immediately after graduating high school. Instead of taking the traditional college path, she enrolled at Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry in Fort Lauderdale. At this institution, she learned every aspect of makeup, including but not limited to: Clean beauty, Bridal, Theatrical, Avant Garde, Print, Character, Body and Face Painting, and Special FX Immediately upon starting at Cosmix, she knew that she was at the right place. Shayna then graduated after seven months of hard work and immediately started working wherever she could. Whether it’s a bridal party, fashion show, photography shoot, or theatrical performance, expect Shayna to be all about it.
